Services
Remote Online Notarization allows documents to be notarized electronically using secure audio-video technology, without the signer and notary needing to be in the same physical location. The signer connects with the notary through a secure online platform, verifies their identity through credential analysis and knowledge-based authentication, and signs the document electronically during the live video session.
An in-person notarial act is a traditional notarization where the signer appears physically before the notary public. During the appointment, the notary verifies the signer’s identity using valid government-issued identification, confirms the signer understands the document, and witnesses the signing. The notary then completes the required notarial certificate and applies an official stamp or seal.
Travel Fee Disclosure: Washington State law allows notaries to charge a travel fee that is separate from the notarial act fee. The travel fee is not required by law and must be agreed upon by the client in advance of the appointment.
Mobile Notary Service
Mobile notary service provides the convenience of having a commissioned notary travel to your location to perform in-person notarizations. This service is ideal for individuals, families, and businesses who cannot easily visit a notary office or who need documents notarized at a specific location such as a home, office, hospital, care facility, or other agreed meeting place.
Travel Fees
$35 – up to 5 miles
$50 – up to 10 miles
$2 per mile after 10 miles
